Rod Thurston, principal owner, started the firm in 1982 mainly in the roofing and siding business providing services for both commercial and residential applications within the community of Haliburton and across Ontario. In 1990 Rod changed his focus to general contracting of custom built cottages, homes and commercial while still utilizing the expertise in roofing and siding areas as a secondary business.
Since this time Rodco has completed a wide range of projects both as a design build contractor and a general contractor for several tendered projects.
Our devotion is making the project duration a success. This could only be made possible through our dedicated staff of whom, on average have been with Rodco for over 20 years. Their pride of workmanship has helped create a consistent level of outstanding quality.
Our goal is to provide quality projects and timely completions regardless of the project size. This has been confirmed by our ongoing relationships with our clients and sub contractors as well as architectural and engineering firms from various past projects.
It is our focus to provide both an architecturally pleasing building to fit into its surroundings and is oriented toward the needs and budgets of our clients. We stand behind our work.
